Which tablet PC is best?
I've been looking at the Tablet PCs for a while, and they all seem interesting to get. I don't want the iPad as it doesn't support Flash. The one that really interests me right now is the HP Slate, but I don't know when its going to come out. Which one do you think is best to get? Would like to play games, surf the web, and do other things you can do on a regular PC. For example, open applications like word, and other PC programs.
Options:
HP Slate (Windows 7)
Adam Tablet (Android)
Samsung Tablet
Any other options, please tell me about them. Thanks for your help
Oh boy...that first answer....yikes!
Chinese mobile phone supplier? Do you have any idea how awful those devices are? Just google some reviews and find out. And they don't have Android 2.2 installed so no Flash - precisely what you want. And those awful resistive screens that you end up having to push down hard on 3 or 4 times to do anything??! Lame.
The Samsung Tab is getting a lot of buzz at the moment.
According to the carrier’s Twitter account, the 7-inch Galaxy Tab will go for about €759 (that’s some $975 at today’s rate) — which translates to a €99 initial payment and a 2-years contract that goes for €27.50 ($35) each month.

Better news hot off the press:
Looking to own a Samsung Galaxy Tab? Chances are that the tablet would go on sale for a price much below the Apple’s iPad, when attached to a carrier. In other words, the Samsung Galaxy Tab would be available on its carrier for a price below $300. This when compared to its full price – touted to be somewhere around $900 – could be a steal. The $300-price would then mean that the Galaxy Tab could cost much less that the iPad.

OK much better but you have to pay $35/month for service with a 2 year commitment probably so that hurts.
Hey the Tab looks like a nice piece of hardware but Samsung is killing themselves with that price or service plan commitment.
Here's the side-by-side comparison of the iPad and the Tab:

or go to www.devicemag.com and type in "tab ipad" in their article search.
What I like about the Tab: Android 2.2 Froyo Operating System that can utilize Flash Player 10.1, front and back cameras, only 13.4 ounces.
What I don't like about the Tab: pricing isn't announced but looks expensive, only a 7 inch screen compared to iPads 9.7 inches.
Here's a new article that discusses several other iPad potential killers:
